Inter striker Lautaro Martinez will be available for the upcoming match against Lazio.
As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 24-year-old Argentinian forward has assured coach Simone Inzaghi that he will be able to play in the match against the Biancocelesti on Saturday, despite his international commitments with Argentina.
Lautaro will be part of the Argentina squad for their upcoming match against Peru on Thursday night and will take off from Buenos Aires on Friday morning. After a brief stopover in Madrid, he’ll fly to Rome, where he will meet Inter at their training retreat ahead of the match against Lazio.
Lautaro’s strong physical condition has already shown that he can handle the fatigue of a transatlantic flight and coach Inzaghi’s staff already has the data that confirms that, looking back at the last international break in September.
The 24-year-old Argentinian striker will be joined by compatriot Joaquin Correa for this journey, although it’s a little unclear if he will be able to feature in the match on Saturday or not.
