The 27-year-old Correa has made four Serie A appearances so far this season under coach Simone Inzaghi, for a total of 130 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals, but hasn’t found the back of the net in his last five appearances across all competitions.
Correa has played in both of Argentina’s recent 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Uruguay, but failed to provide a goal contribution in either match.
