Inter striker Joaquin Correa has suffered a muscle injury and may miss the upcoming match against Lazio.

As reported by ESPN journalist Gustavo Yarroch on Twitter last night, the 27-year-old Argentinian forward has suffered an injury to his left hamstring, which may be more serious than was initially expected.

The 27-year-old Correa has made four Serie A appearances so far this season under coach Simone Inzaghi, for a total of 130 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals, but hasn’t found the back of the net in his last five appearances across all competitions.

Correa has played in both of Argentina’s recent 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Uruguay, but failed to provide a goal contribution in either match.
