Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi found the back of the net in Kosovo’s 2-1 loss to Georgia yesterday.
As highlighted by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward made no mistake from the penalty spot just before half-time to tie things up 1-1, proving his consistency and reliability for the national team.
Muriqi played the full 90 minutes in the match against Georgia, who found a winner in the 82nd minute to secure the three points in the 2022 World Cup qualifier.
The 27-year-old Kosovan forward, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, has made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season under coach Maurizio Sarri, for a total of 198 minutes. In that time, he has only provided one assist, failing to find the back of the net even once.
