Over five years ago, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi picked his first Lazio starting XI in a match against Palermo.
As remembered by Italian broadcaster DAZN on Instagram yesterday, the 45-year-old Italian coach was appointed caretaker coach of the Biancocelesti back in April 2016 and he oversaw his first match in charge only a few days later.

Two current Lazio players featured in that game, with Patric starting as the right-back and Felipe Anderson coming on as a substitute. Lazio won that game 3-0, with goals from Miroslav Klose and the aforementioned Brazilian winger.
