Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio started the second half against Inter on the offensive, pushing for an equalizer which eventually came from Ciro Immobile in the 64th minute.
Off of a corner kick, Patric met the cross but his header was blocked by the arm of Alessandro Bastoni. As it was in an unnatural position, referee Massimiliano Irrati pointed to the spot without hesitation.
Once confirmed by VAR, it was Immobile who stepped up to try and beat Samir Handanovic. He sent the goalkeeper the opposite way and slotted the ball into the right side of the net to bring Lazio level at 1-1.
