Some Lazio Players Unimpressed With Inter Forward Correa’s Reaction

Inter forward Joaquin Correa’s former Lazio teammates were not impressed with his response in the incident with Luiz Felipe.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via LazioNews24) earlier today, some Biancocelesti players were not happy with the 27-year-old Argentinian forward’s reaction to the incident that saw the Brazilian defender sent off at the end of the match on Sunday.

Luiz Felipe hugged Correa from behind after the final time whistle and the Inter forward shook him off, before exchanging a few words with him. The Lazio defender was then given a red card by referee Massimiliano Irrati for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Some Lazio players are not impressed with Correa for failing to intervene and trying to stop Luiz Felipe’s red card, and his response on social media stressing that the gesture was wrong did not improve the mood.

Correa’s former teammates are disappointed with the coldness, considering that only a few months ago he was a popular member of the squad.
