Coach Massimiliano Catini’s squad managed to avoid defeat for the first time this season in their opening match of the Coppa Italia group, grabbing a point after a draw away to Brescia. Adriana Martin’s 93rd minute winner could prove to be a key moment for the squad and their confidence.

Catini Excited to Take Charge of Lazio Women, “I Was Amazed by the Squad”
In the first half, L. Merli put the hosts ahead after a well-worked attacking move, putting Brescia 1-0 up after 36 minutes.
Lazio Women didn’t give up in the second half, and their hard work was rewarded in the dying minutes of the game, when Martin scored in the 93rd minute to secure a point.
The Biancocelesti’s next game of the season is against Empoli Ladies on Saturday 30th October.
