Lazio’s annual sponsorship and licensing revenues total over €15 million now following the agreement with Binance.

The highest earning two years came in 2017/18 and 2018/19, when the team had agreements with electronics company Seleco and betting company Marathonbet.

The deal with Binance is a little low (around €10 million per year for 2+1 years), considering that the cryptocurrency exchange has profits of over $4 billion USD in five years, but it is still an important deal for Lazio regardless.

This stream of revenue, combined with possible Champions League qualification this season, could allow Lazio to invest more heavily into the squad in next summer’s transfer window, further fine tuning coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad.

Another benefit of the agreement with Binance is that Lazio now do not need to worry about the liquidity ratio in the upcoming January transfer window.
