Lazio’s Win vs Inter Showed Flickers of the Team’s Adaption to Sarri’s System

First of all the Lazio players clearly reacted well after their 3-0 loss to Bologna before the international break, something that Sarri wanted to see.

The stats also show the team’s adaption to Sarrismo; in the first half Lazio had a centre of gravity of 53.7 meters up the pitch, compared to Inter’s 45.9 meters, showing the Roman club’s aggressiveness and high line.

The Biancocelesti’s pressing also produced 45 ball recoveries compared to the Nerazzurri’s 29 recoveries, highlighting why Sarri decided to start Toma Basic over Luis Alberto.

The Roman club now need to confirm that continued adaption to Sarri’s system in this weekend’s match against Hellas Verona.
