German referee Deniz Aytekin will oversee tomorrow’s Europa League clash between Lazio and Olympique Marseille.
As announced in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page yesterday, the 43-year-old German referee will lead the officiating team in the Europa League group stage clash at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow evening.

Aytekin has overseen one Lazio match before, officiating the Biancocelesti’s 1-0 loss to FCSB in the Europa League 2017/18 Round of 32. In that game, the German referee gave Lazio five yellow cards, a fair amount considering the physicality of the game.
The 43-year-old has also overseen two Juventus matches, a 0-0 draw with Sevilla and a 1-1 draw with Nordsjaelland, as well as Inter’s 2-2 draw with Rubin Kazan and Napoli’s 1-1 draw with Villarreal.
