Lazio Primavera Impress in 4-2 Win vs Cesena Primavera, Strong Form Continues

Lazio Primavera reacted well to beat Cesena Primavera 4-2 in a thrilling match earlier today.

Coach Alessandro Calori’s squad went ahead in the first half but a second-half equaliser from Cesena threatened to sour the afternoon. However, the Roman club responded well and secured yet another three points as their strong start continues.

Lazio took the lead in the first half thanks to Tare, who converted Crespi’s assist after 18 minutes to put the team 1-0 up.

The Biancocelesti remained in the driving seat for the rest of the first half but couldn’t double their advantage going into the break.

In the second half, Francesconi scored the equaliser for Cesena, tying the match up after 59 minutes.

Calori’s side responded well, however, and again get themselves the lead in the 62nd minute thanks to Ruggeri, who made it 2-1.

This advantage was further increased in the 76th minute when Bertini netted Lazio’s third goal to make it 3-1.

Cesena refused to give up, however, and Stiven Shpendi’s strong form continued as he scored to make it 3-2.

Finally, Schuan secured Lazio’s three points in the 92nd minute, finding the back of the net to make it 4-2.
