Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has won nine of his 16 previous matches against tomorrow’s opponents Hellas Verona.
As collected by stats provider Transfermarkt, the 62-year-old Italian has faced the Gialloblu 16 previous times throughout his career, winning nine times, drawing four and losing three, averaging 1.94 points per game against them.

Sarri’s first meetings with Hellas Verona came in the 2005/06 Serie B season when his Pescara side won 1-0 before drawing the return game 1-1. In the following campaign, Sarri’s Arezzo came out 1-0 winners.
The Lazio coach’s first loss to Hellas Verona came in the 2010/11 Serie C season, when his Alessandria lost 2-0 in the first match, before winning 2-1 at home later that campaign.

Sarri’s other two losses against the Gialloblu came in the 2014/15 Serie A season when his Empoli side lost 2-1 away, and in the 2019/20 season, when his Juventus side lost 2-1 away.
