Lazio Coach Sarri Has Never Faced off Against Hellas Verona Coach Tudor

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has never previously faced off against Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor.

The 43-year-old Tudor was appointed as Gialloblu coach last month following his work as Juventus’ assistant coach last season, working alongside Andrea Pirlo.

The Croatian coach has previously worked as the head coach of Hajduk Split, Udinese, Galatasaray, Karabukspor and PAOK Salonika.

During his most recent spell in charge of Udinese, Tudor oversaw 21 games and averaged 1.33 points per match, winning eight times and drawing four, losing nine matches.

In that spell of games, Tudor’s Udinese lost 2-0 to Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio, but he did not face off against Sarri’s Juventus.

Hellas Verona have had a slow start to this season under the 43-year-old Croatian coach, sitting on eight points after the opening eight games. The Gialloblu’s two wins this season have come against Spezia and Roma.

The Veneto side’s most recent match was a painful 3-2 loss to AC Milan, with the Gialloblu giving up a 2-0 lead.
