Zaccagni Suffers Knee Injury & Will Miss Lazio vs Hellas Verona

Lazio midfielder Mattia Zaccagni has suffered a knee injury and will not be available to face Hellas Verona tomorrow.

As announced in an official statement earlier today, the 26-year-old Italian midfielder injured his right knee during the 0-0 draw against Olympique Marseille on Thursday and so will be forced to sit on the sidelines whilst it heals.

Zaccagni will undergo medical tests and monitoring over the next few days in order to estimate how long his recovery will take.

The 26-year-old Zaccagni, who is joined Lazio on a loan deal with a conditional obligation to buy clause from Hellas Verona on transfer deadline day, has had a slow start to life in the Italian capital.

The former Gialloblu man was forced to miss four games already this campaign due to a hamstring injury, and he then suffered from a fever after that.
