Lazio Midfielder Zaccagni Risks Being Out for a Month Due to Knee Injury

Lazio midfielder Mattia Zaccagni could be sidelined for up to a month following a knee injury.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Repubblica (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 26-year-old Italian midfielder suffered a knee sprain in the 0-0 draw with Olympique Marseille earlier this week and so has been forced onto the sidelines, missing today’s match against Hellas Verona.

The 26-year-old Italian midfielder will most likely be fully fit in time for Lazio’s match against Juventus on 20th November, a key game as the Roman club look to establish themselves for Champions League contention.

Zaccagni has made five appearances since joining Lazio on transfer deadline day at the end of August, but has yet to make a goal contribution.
