Atalanta’s confirming starting lineup for today’s match against Lazio has been announced.
As seen in a post on Atalanta’s Twitter page earlier today, coach Gian Piero Gasperini has picked a strong starting 11 for tonight’s home clash against the Biancocelesti, needing to pick up some points at the Gewiss Stadium this afternoon.
Atalanta (3-4-2-1): Juan Musso; Matteo Lovato, Marten de Roon, Merih Demiral; Davide Zappacosta, Teun Koopmeiners, Remo Freuler, Joakim Maehle; Mario Pasalic, Josip Ilicic; Duvan Zapata.
Atalanta currently sit fifth in the Serie A table after the opening 10 games, with 18 points. The Bergamo-based side have one more point than Lazio, so today’s game could be crucial in the fight for a top-four finish.
La Dea have struggled for points at home this campaign, the opposite problem of Lazio, who have failed to impress whilst playing away. This suggests that it’ll be a tense and delicate game in Lombardy today.
