During a high-intensity fixture between Atalanta and Lazio, whereby both sides are pressing and chasing every ball, it was the Biancocelesti that took the lead in the 18th minute.
After a Lazio opportunity, Atalanta tried to clear the ball. However, it was put out of play for a throw-in. After a string of passes, the ball eventually found its way to Danilo Cataldi who played a first-time pass to split La Dea’s backline.
This was met by a chasing Ciro Immobile; despite getting his shot off, it was saved by Juan Musso, but the rebound was slotted home from Pedro to put Lazio up 1-0.
