Lazio president Claudio Lotito will have a meeting soon with coach Maurizio Sarri to discuss the future.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, despite a fairly inconsistent start to the season, the 62-year-old Italian coach has the full support of the club and so the Biancocelesti president wants to continue laying the groundwork for the future.

The current ideas surrounding the January Transfer Window are to sign a new central defender and a midfielder with different characteristics and strengths than those already present in the squad.

Lotito understands that Sarri’s project needs time and he is fully on board with the former Empoli, Napoli, Chelsea, and Juventus coach’s work, being impressed with the highlights seen so far.
