In the final minute of the first half, Felipe Anderson found the back of the net for Lazio to allow them to head into the break at 1-1.
Off of a corner kick taken by Luis Alberto, Francesco Acerbi won the first ball, but he did not get much contact on it. The ball fell to Pedro who then tried to take a shot, but he misfired.
Luiz Felipe then took a swing but his shot was blocked by William Saliba; however, it fell kindly to Felipe Anderson who was unmarked and onside. He took a touch and then beat Pau Lopez from close range to put Lazio on the board at the Stade Velodrome.
