Lazio winger Pedro was happy with the team’s performance in their 2-2 draw against Olympique Marseille yesterday.

Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via LazioNews24) after the game, the 34-year-old Spanish winger commented on the match against the Ligue 1 side last night.

I think we played a good match, it was difficult because they have a great team. Now we have to win the other remaining games. 

Ciro scored a great goal as usual, then too bad because we were in control, then they found the goal and in the last ten minutes we suffered.

The Lazio winger looked ahead to the next Europa League clash away to Lokomotiv Moscow.

We dribbled well, we had good possession, then after they pressed us well and we suffered, but we got a point and we have to stay calm because there are two games left.

The 34-year-old Pedro, who is contracted to Lazio until 2023, has made 15 appearances so far this season across all competitions, for a total of 1038 minutes.

In that time, he has scored three goals and provided two assists, consistently performing well under coach Maurizio Sarri.
