Lazio star Ciro Immobile’s goal against Olympique Marseille on Thursday means that he is now the club’s top scorer in the Europa League.
As seen in a post on the Europa League Twitter page yesterday, the 31-year-old Italian striker has scored 11 goals in the second tier of European competition for the Biancocelesti since joining the club in 2016, making him the Roman side’s top scorer.

Immobile’s goal against Olympique Marseille on Thursday put him ahead of former striker Pierluigi Casiraghi, who had scored 10 times in the competition for Lazio.
The 31-year-old Italian striker’s goal against the French side was also his 160th goal for Lazio, breaking Silvio Piola’s record as the club’s all-time top scorer.

Immobile has continued his incredible form under coach Maurizio Sarri this season, having scored nine goals in 10 Serie A appearances so far this campaign.
The Italian star went into the match against the Ligue 1 side with a slight knee issue but he still managed to be decisive and help the club secure a point.
