Lazio striker Ciro Immobile is chasing other records after becoming the club’s all-time top goalscorer.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker’s goal against Olympique Marseille on Thursday saw him break two records – Silvio Piola’s all-time club top scorer record and Pierluigi Casiraghi’s club top scorer in the Europa League.
Immobile Is Now Lazio’s All-Time Top Scorer in Europa League/UEFA Cup
Immobile could hit another important milestone tomorrow against Salernitana, as a goal would be his 100th in the Stadio Olimpico. If he fails to net then, he’ll have another chance in Italy’s match against Switzerland on 12th November.
Immobile is also only three goals away from Simone Inzaghi’s all-time Lazio top scorer in European competition (17 goals to Inzaghi’s 20).

In addition, the 31-year-old Italian striker wants to reach 200 goals in all European leagues; he has currently netted 199, almost all of which were in Italy – 164 goals in Serie A, 30 goals in Serie B, three in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and two in La Liga with Sevilla.
After the match against Salernitana tomorrow Immobile will take out the entire squad for dinner to celebrate and thank them for their assistance.
