Lazio took the lead in the 31st minute of their Serie A fixture against Salernitana at the Stadio Olimpico.

After dominating possession but failing to create too many chances, the breakthrough finally came after a quick set of passes around Salernitana’s 18-yard box, which eventually saw Ciro Immobile find the back of the net.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic played a pass to Felipe Anderson who then returned the ball to the Serbian with a pass behind the Granata backline. Just before the ball crossed the goal line, the midfielder crossed the ball into the 6-yard box which was flicked backwards by Pedro.

Immobile then connected with it to put Lazio ahead 1-0.
