Rapuano has only overseen one Lazio match in the past, a 3-2 win over Crotone last season. In that game, he didn’t produce any cards to the Biancocelesti squad, although he booked three Crotone players.
The 36-year-old Italian referee has overseen 12 Salernitana games in the past, with the first coming in the 2012/13 season in the fourth division, and the most recent coming in the Campania side’s season opener against Bologna, where they lost 3-2.
