Immobile Is The First Lazio Player To Score 10+ Goals In Six Consecutive Seasons

Talismanic striker Ciro Immobile is the first Lazio player to score double figures in six consecutive Serie A seasons.

As highlighted by stats provider Opta Paolo on Twitter yesterday, the 31-year-old Italian striker has yet again set another record for the Roman club, netting 10+ goals in six consecutive league campaigns in the Italian capital.

Immobile’s goal against Olympique Marseille last week saw him become Lazio’s undisputed all-time top scorer and he added to this tally in the 3-0 win against Salernitana yesterday.

The 31-year-old Italian striker has now scored 161 goals in 234 appearances across all competitions for Lazio since joining in 2016, an incredible achievement.

Immobile is now considered one of Lazio’s greatest players of all time and considering that he’s contracted to the club until 2026, his goal tally is sure to continue rising.
