Lazio’s Attacking Trio Are the Most Prolific in Italy & Fourth-Best in Europe

Lazio’s attacking trio of Ciro Immobile, Pedro and Felipe Anderson are the most prolific in Italy.

As reported by Italian stats provider Lazio Page on Twitter yesterday, the three players have scored 17 goals in the first 12 Serie A games of the season, working incredibly together under coach Maurizio Sarri.

In joint second with 16 goals is Hellas Verona (eight from Giovanni Simeone, four from Antonin Barak and three from Gianluca Caprari) and Inter (seven from Edin Dzeko, five from Lautaro Martinez and four from Joaquin Correa).

Immobile has scored 10 of Lazio’s 17 attacking trident goals, with Pedro netting four and Felipe Anderson scoring the other three.

The most prolific attacking trio in Europe’s Top 5 Leagues is Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski (13), Serge Gnabry (six) and Thomas Muller (four), who have netted 23 goals in total.

Behind them is Liverpool who have scored 20 goals so far – coming from Mohamed Salah (10), Sadio Mane (six) and Diogo Jota (four) – in addition to Real Madrid trio Karim Benzema (10), Vinicius Junior (seven) and Marco Asensio (three).
