Lazio striker Ciro Immobile will undergo a new round of medical checks over the next 48 hours.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian forward was forced to withdraw from the Azzurri training camp earlier this week after suffering a fluid build-up in his left calf.

This edema means that the medical tests will have to wait, with the previous two showing nothing. Tomorrow, Immobile will finally undergo further tests that should be much more indicative.
Lazio want to be optimistic and hope that he has only suffered a first degree strain, a less serious injury that would not keep him sidelined for too long.
