Muriqi Dreaming of Fenerbahce Return in January, Lazio Studying a Solution

Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi is dreaming of a return to Fenerbahce in the upcoming January Transfer Window.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Kosovan forward is unhappy in Rome after failing to impress coach Maurizio Sarri, leaving him mostly relegated to a handful of minutes at the end of matches.

Was Lazio Coach Sarri’s Decision to Pick Vedat Muriqi Over Caicedo a Mistake?

Muriqi has only played 203 minutes across all competitions so far this season for Lazio and it is clear that the decision to move to the Italian capital was the wrong one.

The Kosovan forward would like to return to Fenerbahce, where he scored 17 goals in 36 matches, and it is a move his wife agrees with, with her Instagram stories often referencing the Istanbul side.

Lazio are working out the way to let Muriqi leave on loan in the upcoming January Transfer Window, and not just to Fenerbahce.

The Roman club would like to bring in a new forward in January and so are happy to work out a loan deal with any interested club.
