Lazio Midfielder Luis Alberto Buys Villa in Rome After Renting for Years

Luis Alberto has purchased a luxury villa in Rome, suggesting that he has no plans to leave Lazio in the near future.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Tempo (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 29-year-old Spanish midfielder has bought an ultra-luxurious villa in the Olgiata area on Rome, an important step after previously renting for the last five years.

The decision to purchase the property implies that Luis Alberto is happy now at Lazio under coach Maurizio Sarri and has no intention of leaving the club in the next couple of years.

The 29-year-old Spanish midfielder’s contract expires with Lazio in 2025 and despite his clear nostalgia for Spain, he is content in the Italian capital.

His disagreements with Sarri at the beginning of the season are now a distant memory, with president Claudio Lotito’s intervention possibly proving key in helping the pair find common ground.

Luis Alberto has made 12 Serie A appearances so far this season, for a total of 800 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided four assists.
