Lazio are working on renewing various player contracts that are set to expire next year.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the first of these players is Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe. The Roman club are working on offering him a deal lasting until 2026 that will see him earn €1.3 million net per season plus add-ons.

Regarding the goalkeepers, the situation is a little more complex. Pepe Reina’s deal with Lazio will automatically renew for a year should European competition be achieved this season, whilst talks are still ongoing with Thomas Strakosha, who seems likely to leave on a free transfer next year.

Lucas Leiva has recently fallen behind Danilo Cataldi in Maurizio Sarri’s pecking order but a one-year renewal could be agreed after the January transfer window.

Adam Marusic‘s contract renewal has already been agreed, with only the formalities missing. The 29-year-old will sign a deal lasting until 2026 worth €1.8 million net per season plus add-ons.

Patric, on the other hand, will leave the club on a free transfer next year, with no contract renewal being considered.
