Marusic now risks missing out on Lazio’s next Serie A match against Juventus, which will take place on 20th November in Rome. He will undergo more tests as next week progresses in the hope that he can return in time.

The 29-year-old is the second player from the Montenegrin national team to test positive for Covid-19, with Stevan Jovetic testing positive first.
