Referee Marco Di Bello to Oversee Lazio vs Juventus, Banti in VAR Room

Referee Marco Di Bello will lead the officiating team in Lazio’s upcoming match against Juventus.

As announced by Lazio earlier today, the 40-year-old Brindisi-born referee will oversee the clash between the two sides on Saturday afternoon, his first top game of the season.

The 40-year-old Di Bello has overseen 15 Lazio matches in the past, starting with the club’s 7-0 Coppa Italia win over Bassano in August 2014. In those 15 games, the Biancocelesti have won eight times, drawn twice, and lost five times. 

Di Bello was the referee in Lazio’s 3-1 loss to Inter in May 2017, when both Keita Balde and Senad Lulic were sent off after receiving two yellow cards each.

The 40-year-old Italian referee has awarded Lazio seven penalties in those 15 games.
