Lazio star Ciro Immobile is doing everything possible to try and be fit in time to face Juventus on Saturday.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian is working incredibly hard to try and recover from his left calf injury as soon as possible, wanting to do the impossible and be fit in time for Saturday’s match against the Bianconeri.
Today, Immobile is scheduled to undergo a new round of tests in order to understand the current state of the injury. Optimism is growing in the Lazio environment, but the next few days will be crucial.
Coach Maurizio Sarri does not want to do without the 31-year-old Italian striker, who has already scored 10 goals in 11 Serie A appearances so far this season.
The next key day now is Friday, the eve of the match against Juventus, when Immobile’s fitness will be fully evaluated to judge whether or not he’ll be able to play.
