Allegri Highlights Dybala “Wants to Play” vs Lazio but Notes “We Have to Be Careful”

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking forward to a tough game against Lazio tomorrow.

Speaking to gathered reporters in a press conference (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the Bianconeri coach was prepared for a difficult match tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow we face the two teams that in the last two years have shared the trophies. It’s a good challenge between two teams that are floating in fourth place.

It’s the game after the international break so it’s difficult and important. I’ve only seen the European players because the South Americans arrived a bit late.

I don’t know anything about the line-up and afterwards I’ll know who’s coming to Rome.

The Juventus coach commented on the physical condition of star forward Paulo Dybala ahead of the match against Lazio.

He didn’t train yesterday. Today he will try to do a training session after a week, he wants to play.

He doesn’t have any problems but with his calf we have to be careful.

Allegri responded to a question asking if Juventus are a ‘coachable’ team, referencing the words of coach Maurizio Sarri following his departure from the Bianconeri.

Maurizio won a Scudetto here. He is a very good coach and did a good job here.

You have to ask him this, for me every team is coachable.

He commented on the state of the players who’ve returned from the international break.

Kean has worked well and is available. Rabiot played well and scored for the national team.

As it always happens when they come back from national teams, some are happy and others are not.

Now there’s the league and the national teams will be taken care of in March.

The Italian coach spoke about the condition of midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

I will have to evaluate because yesterday he had a flexor problem during training and I will have to assess whether to take him to Rome.

He continued discussing the state of players who were away with their national teams.

Rabiot before Covid had done well and then he needed time. Ramsey had physical problems that affected him.

Bernardeschi we won’t have him for 15-20 days. He was doing well this year and we hope he continues to do so when he is available again.

Finally, Allegri discussed what he’ll ask of Federico Chiesa tomorrow and if how the absence of Ciro Immobile will affect the game.

To score goals.

Sarri built his Napoli without a centre forward, I hope he does that from the next game.

Juventus currently sit 8th in the Serie A table after 12 games, on 18 points. The team have only won two of their last five matches, a sign of their inconsistent form.
