Agent Mateja Kezman hinted that Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will move onto a bigger club one day.

Speaking in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoJuve.com yesterday, the Serbian midfielder’s agent first discussed if his client can be the protagonist in today’s match against Juventus.

We know well how much Sergej likes important matches, tomorrow night’s match against Juventus is one without a shadow of a doubt.

And he has often been one of the best on the pitch. So yes sure, he could be a protagonist.

Kezman touched on what kind of match he expects between Lazio and Juventus today.

Juve are suffering a lot this season, Lazio on their part express a good game. We are in substantial balance, 50/50 in my opinion, everything will depend on the details.

They will be the ones that will make one or the other contender prevail.

The agent spoke about Serbia’s qualification to the 2022 World Cup and the effect that has on Milinkovic-Savic.

Our victory over Portugal in Lisbon was a fantastic night for all the Serbian people. To be honest, Stojkovic had been very optimistic and showed some good things in a short time.

I am sure he can do better and better in the future with this group of players. My happiness is for Sergej and Vanja, they deserved it. The fans are very happy to see Sergej’s qualities on the pitch.

He discussed how well the 26-year-old Serbian midfielder has adapted to coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system this season.

Sarri has a different working method than his predecessor, with Inzaghi he has grown both as a person and as a player.

Thanks to the former coach, Sergej has become one of the best players in Europe.

With Sarri, he adapted very well and I am sure that he will be able to show more and more. Better and better.

He revealed that serious talks had taken place with Juventus in the past.

To be honest, there have been few serious talks with the Bianconeri.

In the end, nothing happened and no agreement was found.

Finally, Kezman discussed Milinkovic-Savic’s future and what’s next after Lazio.

With all due respect to Lazio, Sergej is a player for a big club in the future. And I’m sure that soon it will be time for a new adventure and new dreams.

Juve, in my opinion, are still a great club and I think for anyone it is an honour to play for them. We’ll see what tomorrow brings, what path God will show him.

The 26-year-old Milinkovic-Savic, who is contracted to Lazio until 2024, has made 12 Serie A appearances so far this season, for a total of 924 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided four assists.
