Today’s session in Formello will be key for Ciro Immobile as he looks to feature in Lazio’s next game against Lokomotiv Moscow.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker took part in a light training session in Formello yesterday, following a round of medical tests at the Paideia Clinic in the morning.

The edema has been reabsorbed and Immobile‘s injury has evolved favourably. Today’s training session will be indicative regarding his availability for Lazio’s match against Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday, a key moment for the Italian star.

Lazio Have Lost More Than Half of Serie A Clashes When Immobile Is Absent

The 31-year-old Immobile, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2026, has made 11 Serie A appearances so far this season, for a total of 961 minutes. In that time, he has scored 10 goals and provided two assists.

The Italian star’s absence in the 2-0 loss to Juventus on Saturday was obvious and it is clear how important he is for the Roman club.
