Lazio full-back Adam Marusic has agreed to a contract renewal that will tie him to the club until 2025.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today, the 29-year-old Montenegrin full back’s current deal expires next year in 2022 and so president Claudio Lotito wants to iron out a contract renewal before the January Transfer Window opens.

The player has proven his capabilities in coach Maurizio Sarri‘s four-man defence and his tactical flexibility is key for the 62-year-old Italian coach.

A variety of Lazio players have deals expiring next year in 2022, forcing president Lotito and sporting director Igli Tare into action.
