The 42-year-old Dias has overseen one Lazio match before, officiating the Biancocelesti’s Champions League group stage clash against Zenit St. Petersburg, a 1-1 draw away last year. In that game, he gave the Roman club four yellow cards but was in control throughout the match.

Dias has officiated one Lokomotiv Moscow game in the past too – a 5-1 Europa League loss to Atletico Madrid back in March 2018.
