Lazio have identified three defenders that could be a possible option for the upcoming January transfer window.
As detailed by Italian media outlet Cittaceleste yesterday, one of the players on Igli Tare’s list is Empoli’s Lorenzo Tonelli, a player that coach Maurizio Sarri knows well from their time together at the Tuscan club.
The second player on the list is Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani, with Leggo reporting that the defender is an option due to his reliability and history with Sarri, even if his career has tailed off a little in recent years.

The third player that Lazio are considering is 24-year-old Argentinian defender Marcos Senesi, who is contracted to Feyenoord until 2023, a player that has been followed for a while now. He is the most exciting option on the list but also the most expensive, with an estimated cost of around €20 million. Roma and Napoli are also keen on the player, providing some competition.
