Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri can extend his strong record against Udinese this evening.
As collected by stats provider Transfermarkt, the 62-year-old Italian coach has faced the Bianconeri 12 times in the past, winning eight of these matches and losing the other four. He currently has an average of 2.0 points per match against the Friuli-Venezia Giulia based side.
Sarri’s first meeting with Udinese came in the 2014/15 season, when his Empoli side lost both Serie A clashes against them. The following campaign his Napoli side won the home match 1-0 but lost 3-1 away. This was his last loss to Udinese for over four years.
The Lazio coach won every other meeting against Udinese with Napoli across the years, as well as a league and cup match against the Bianconeri with Juventus.
Sarri’s most recent match against Udinese came in July 2020, when his Juventus side lost 2-1 away.
The 62-year-old Italian coach will be hoping to return to winning ways in tonight’s match, with the Biancocelesti desperate for a strong result after a few recent poor performances.
