AC Milan May Look to Sign Lazio’s Luiz Felipe in January to Replace Injured Kjaer

AC Milan could make a move for Lazio defender Luiz Felipe in the upcoming January transfer window.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Rossoneri have lost defender Simon Kjaer to a knee injury and so are planning to pick up a new centre back in next month’s transfer market.

One of the players on AC Milan’s list of options is Luiz Felipe. The Brazilian’s contract expires with Lazio next year in 2022 and so far a renewal has not been agreed.

The 24-year-old Brazilian defender is currently in the process of negotiating a new deal with sporting director Igli Tare and president Claudio Lotito, but pen has not been put to paper yet.

AC Milan could break this stalemate by making an offer in next month’s transfer window, an idea that could be attractive to Lazio as it would prevent them from losing him on a free transfer.
