Lazio star Ciro Immobile’s favourite opponents are Sampdoria, with his incredible record against them proof of this.
As collected by stats provider Transfermarkt, the 31-year-old Italian striker has faced Sampdoria 16 times in the past, winning 10 of those matches, drawing four and losing only two.
More impressively, however, is Immobile’s goal record against Sampdoria; the Lazio talisman has netted 13 goals and provided two assists against the Ligurian side in the past.
Sampdoria are the club that Immobile has been most clinical against in his career. Behind them are Genoa and Hellas Verona, both of whom have conceded 12 goals to Immobile in the past.
Last campaign, Immobile missed the away match due to a suspension and failed to net in the home match, but the season prior he scored five goals in the two matches against the Blucerchiati.
The 31-year-old Immobile, who is contracted to Lazio until 2026, has scored 14 goals in 18 matches across all competitions so far this season.
