Lazio star Ciro Immobile is overperforming his expected goals in Serie A this season.
As seen in a post on the Twitter page of Stats Perform’s Sacha Pisani yesterday, the 31-year-old Italian striker has taken 52 shots across his 14 league appearances so far this campaign, registering an expected goal (xG) stat of 9.7.
This shows that Immobile is overperforming his xG by 3.3, considering that he has netted 13 goals so far this Serie A season. Therefore his goal output for Lazio could level off in the coming matches.
