Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha does not seem set to renew his contract with the club.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 26-year-old Albanian goalkeeper has recently found his footing again under coach Maurizio Sarri, impressing in his Serie A season debut against Sampdoria and performing well consistently in the Europa League.

Despite this recent upswing in position, however, a contract renewal with Lazio seems unlikely for Strakosha, with his departure at the end of the season now seemingly inevitable.

The 26-year-old Albanian goalkeeper is open to a new adventure next year and he is interested in joining a non-Italian club as well, with Premier League side Newcastle United recently linked with him.
Strakosha, who has been with Lazio since the summer of 2012, has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 630 minutes. In that time, he has conceded four goals and kept four clean sheets.
