Lazio have drawn Udinese for their Coppa Italia Round of 16, which will kick off in the new year.

As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page yesterday, the Biancocelesti will face the Friulian side in their Coppa Italia Round of 16 clash on 12th January, not long after the conclusion of the Christmas break.

Four Players Have Played for Both Lazio & Porto in the Past, Including Felipe Anderson

Udinese beat Crotone 4-0 in the Coppa Italia second round yesterday, with Ignacio Pussetto scoring a brace and Sebastien De Maio and Isaac Success scoring one each.

The exact time of Lazio’s Coppa Italia clash against Udinese has not yet been confirmed, although considering the 12th January is a Wednesday, it’s likely to be an evening match.

What to Expect From Lazio’s Europa League Playoff Opponents Porto

Lazio will be hoping to perform well in the cup this season, something that they did regularly under previous coach Simone Inzaghi, winning the competition in the 2018/19 season.

In the Biancocelesti’s last meeting with Udinese, the match ended 4-4 in Rome, with three red cards being handed out in total, the sign of an explosive match.
