Bologna have underlined Lazio wing back Manuel Lazzari as a possible target ahead of next month’s transfer window.
As reported by Italian newspaper Resto del Carlino (via LazioNews24) yesterday, Rossoblu coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has asked the club for two reinforcements in the upcoming transfer window – a new right wing back and a backup to forward Marko Arnautovic.
Bologna have a few targets to fill the right wing back position, starting with Feyenoord’s Marcus Holmgren Pedersen and Udinese’s Jens Stryger Larsen, and now they’ve added Lazio’s Lazzari to that list as well.
Lazio were linked with Bologna winger Riccardo Orsolini in the summer and so a possible swap deal could be on the cards.
The 28-year-old Lazzari, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, has adapted well to coach Maurizio Sarri’s four-man defence this season, but he is not considered unsellable by the club, especially with Adam Marusic comfortable in the role.
