Pairetto has overseen Lazio nine times before, with Lazio winning six of those games, drawing one and losing two.
The most recent Lazio match that the 37-year-old Italian referee has officiated was the 2-0 derby loss to Roma last season, and before that he oversaw the Biancocelesti’s 3-2 loss to Atalanta in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
In the 2019/20 season, Pairetto officiated the Roman club’s 4-0 win over Genoa, a good omen ahead of tomorrow’s match.
