Lazio Coach Sarri Has Never Lost to Genoa Before, Won Last Five Meetings

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has a spotless record against Genoa, never losing a game against the Ligurian side.

As collected by stats provider Transfermarkt, the 62-year-old Italian coach has faced the Rossoblu 12 times in the past, averaging 2.17 points per meeting. In those 12 games, he was won seven matches and drawn five.

Seven years later, the 62-year-old Italian coach met Genoa again and this time his Empoli side drew 1-1 away. They won a Coppa Italia match 2-0 at home six weeks after this match, and in the return leg in the league they drew 1-1 at home.
