Lazio Wingers Pedro & Zaccagni Finally Performing up to Sarri’s Standards

Lazio finally have dangerous wingers with Mattia Zaccagni and Pedro both shining in recent weeks.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the pair were the heroes in the Biancocelesti’s 3-1 win over Genoa on Friday, with both players scoring goals and comfortably applying coach Maurizio Sarri’s instructions.

In the last three Serie A games, Zaccagni has scored two goals and provided two assists, something that hasn’t happened since December 2020. The player has finally found his footing in Rome and is beginning to become a star under Sarri.

Regarding Pedro, the 2010 World Cup winner has already scored six Serie A goals this campaign, as well as racking up three assists, and is one of the most technical players in the Lazio squad.

Sarri still needs to help Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson find some consistency, with the former West Ham man bouncing between wondrous performances and matches where he is completely invisible.
