Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri is ready to sign his contract extension with the club.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 62-year-old Italian coach has received all the necessary documentation and is prepared to put pen to paper on the deal that will tie him to the club until June 2025.

It’s likely that Sarri will sign the renewal after Lazio’s next match against Venezia, which is scheduled for Wednesday 22nd December next week, the team’s last match of 2021.

Sarri’s salary is set to rise from the current €3.3 million net per season plus add-ons to €4 million net plus add-ons with a clause that would allow him to leave the club should a top foreign club come looking for him, although he would have to pay a fee to terminate the deal.
The 62-year-old Sarri has overseen 23 Lazio matches so far and has averaged 1.57 points per match.
